The Feast of Trumpets for this year has now come and gone without the rapture having taken place. If you’ve been following these blogs, you know why. Too many of the required signs—what we call the kairos signs—have not yet been fulfilled.
We know from Hebrews 10:25 that we are supposed to see the Day of the Lord approaching, that is, the Day when our Lord and Savior comes to gather His Church, His Bride, and Body to Him to take us to Father’s House in Heaven. We also know that the purpose of this gathering at the rapture is to be seated as the heavenly court with Christ as His joint-heirs. This crucial part of God’s prophetic plan of redemption must happen at the appointed time. That appointed time includes the Chronos, which has to do with the chronological passing of time, and the Kairos, which has to do with the corresponding signs of that specific time period. This two-part assurance of the Chronos and the Kairos is what keeps us from being deceived by false date-setting. We need to have both, which is why we were not surprised when the rapture didn’t happen at this year’s Feast of Trumpet. If you’ve been following these blogs, you know that the situation is much like that of a pregnant woman. She knows there is generally nine months in the pregnancy (the Chronos) and the corresponding signs throughout her pregnancy that must be present for a healthy birth (the Kairos). Even when she is in the ninth month, the expectant mother does not rush to the hospital, no matter how much she wants to see her baby. She has to wait until she sees the final signs such as her water breaking and the intense birth pains. In effect, this is where we are at in God’s prophetic plan of redemption that we call the Day Code: “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one Day” (2 Pet. 3:8). As important as both the Chronos and the Kairos are to seeing the Day approaching, there’s one other aspect that we need to understand—the End-Game of God’s prophetic plan. Or to put it another way, what is the purpose of the rapture? Paul makes it very clear in Ephesians 2:4-6 (emphasis added). “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” The End-Time Truth: The point of being gathered at the rapture is to be “raised up together” (our 3rd Day resurrection) AND being made to sit together in Heaven with Christ. This is why Hebrews 3:1 says we are partakers of the His heavenly calling. As glorious as this seating is for us, the heavenly purpose is summarized in Daniel 7. Thrones are put in place next to God the Father because a fiery stream of chariots of fire is released for the purposes of gathering the Body of Christ to join the Head, Jesus our Lord, at the right hand of the Father for all eternity. Thousands upon thousands from every tribe, nation, and tongue (Rev. 7:9) are seated with Jesus at the right hand of the Father’s throne. The books are opened that affirm God’s will and judgments, which are then declared by the heavenly court. We shall thereby take away the Antichrist’s dominion to consume and destroy. Then and only then will the Kingdom of God and His dominion rule over the kingdoms under Heaven. With the remnant of Israel having finally accepted Jesus as the Messiah and having come through the gate of the sheepfold the right way, they take over the earthly commission to be God’s light in the earth. This fulfills God’s promise to David that his descendants would reign once again. This was foreshadowed when Elisha took over Elijah’s mantle in 2 Kings 2. While we are currently in the window of God’s chronos timing for Jesus’ return, we are still awaiting the final earthly signs and the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven. Then and only then will we fulfill our destiny as the heavenly court.

This is a word of preparation given at a recent Chronos Ministry weekly meeting. Daniel 7 and 8 record key prophecies concerning “the time of the end” (Dan. 8:17). Dan. 7:9-10 describes a key event at the end of this age that happens because of Christ’s return at the rapture. It is our heavenly calling whereby we are seated as the heavenly court. It is in fact, the reason for the rapture.
We partake of this ruling assignment because we are in Christ (Heb. 3:1). Our calling is His calling. The purpose of this seating? “But the court shall be seated, and they shall take away his dominion [Satan who empowers the Antichrist] to consume and destroy it forever (Dan. 7:28). This is confirmed in Psalm 149:6-9. “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment—this honor have all His saints.” This godly vengeance is also confirmed in Rev. 15 whereby our declarations as the heavenly court release the bowls of God’s wrath during the last Day. Without the court in place and reigning with all authority, the world would fall apart. Hebrews 2 reminds us that God has not put the world to come in subjection to the angels. By virtue of Christ’s resurrection the world to come is in His hands, along with the many brethren, His Church and Bride, who shall be raised up at the Last Day, likewise born from the dead. We rule as the one new Man by virtue of our resurrection. This seating of Christ the Head and His Body is affirmed in Acts 17:31. “He [God] has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” We are seated together with Christ at the right hand of the Father’s throne, ruling over the earth from this position of all authority for the final 1,000-year Day, the Last Day, and Christ’s millennial reign. This is why Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1:15-21 is so vital. We need to understand the hope of our calling that comes because we are “in Christ.” This is also why our Lord’s visible return at the appointed time of the Last Day (John 6:39, 40, 44, 45) is so key. We must be installed as the heavenly court with Christ for God’s plan of redemption to be fulfilled. For God the Father declared the decree, the inheritance over this earth, to the Son. At the rapture, when all the heirs are gathered together with the Son, Jesus will declare that decree over us as His joint heirs, likewise the sons of God through adoption (Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5). This is our eternal position, for it is an eternal government (Ps. 2). We will be making the necessary judgments from the throne, executing the written judgments, speaking forth God’s will on earth as in heaven (Rev. 2:26-27). When Jeff first introduced this teaching on our heavenly calling, it changed everything for me. I knew we would be gathered together with Christ at the rapture. But I wasn’t sure what would happen next. Of course I relished the idea of being in Heaven with God and our Lord, but what would we do besides strum some songs on harps and bask in His glory. Yet this tells us there is so much more to this calling. Once perfected at the rapture and fully conformed to Jesus (Rom. 8:29), we shall reign with Him as joint heirs as foreshadowed in Esther’s story when the king, her husband, offered her half of his kingdom. When God called Jeff to teach about the end-times with a message of comfort, hope, and victory, Jeff knew God would lead him every step of the way through all the confusion on the topic because we know that God is not the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33). Jeff told God that he needed to see it for himself in several clear scriptural passages, as the standard of truth given in the Word. One of the earliest points He taught Jeff was that we have the same information and awareness as a pregnant woman concerning the birth of her child. That is, the Chronos time period, such as the typical 9-month pregnancy, and the Kairos, the corresponding signs that signal not only the pregnancy but the coming birth.
God pointed to the “one thing” we need to know concerning the Chronos of God’s plan of redemption. “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2 Peter 3:8). All the false date-setting that the Church has endured over the years happened because we didn’t recognize the chronos aspect concerning the great prophetic week of God’s seven 1,000-year great Days and the kairos aspect of the corresponding signs. This is what brought part of the confusion. We need both the correct timing and the correct signs, both of which must come from God’s Word and not mankind’s speculations. We are the only generation that can say that God’s sixth Day or 6,000 years in our time are nearly spent. Which means we must now turn our attention to the corresponding signs. We are the only generation who can say for sure if the final signs listed in Scripture are seen or not. We know from 1 Cor. 15:52 that He is coming on the Feast of Trumpets. The question then becomes have we seen the necessary signs for this Feast of Trumpets to be the time of His coming? So what are the signs that we must see before Jesus comes at the end of this current Messianic or Church Age in the rapture? _____ The Jewish Temple rebuilt _____ The daily sacrifices resumed _____ The three “Horns” plucked up by the roots and replaced according to Daniel 7 _____ The invasion of the Little Horn (the Antichrist) and his coalition of 10 kings _____ The man of sin (the Antichrist) revealed in the Temple _____ The final sign of darkness in the sun, moon, and stars that Jesus taught would be seen before He comes again This is really what we need in order to see that Day approaching (Heb. 10:25). Knowing both the Chronos timing and the corresponding Kairos signs gives us foolproof knowledge based on God’s Word and not mankind’s speculations, no matter how scholarly or influential the source. We simply stand secure in what is revealed in His Word for that gloriously Day. |
