. . . giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. Colossians 1:12-13
Scripture calls the 7th Day in God’s great Week the Day of the Lord. You probably know it as Christ’s millennial reign. Millennial means a thousand in Latin. So it is the Last Day when He reigns over the earth.
The Day of the Lord dawns with the rapture, when Jesus comes again and takes His Bride back to our prepared place in Father’s House to reign with Him (John 14:1-4). Ephesians 1:10 tells that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times—the 7th Day—Christ will come and gather us together as One New Man in Him—both those who are already in heaven and those of us who are still on the earth.
The only requirement to be raptured is to be “in Him”—having accepted Jesus as your Savior. We have this assurance:
At that Day we shall be completely and fully in Him, receiving our perfected, immortal resurrection bodies. At that Day, we shall step into our ultimate destiny, our heavenly calling as joint-heirs with Christ, ruling with Him as overcomers (Revelation 3:21).
