![]() Scripture affirms that God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:13). So if it seems as if a cloud of confusion surrounds us, what do we need to do? First and foremost, our life in Christ isn’t about doing more; it’s about seeing more. “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). That is why Jesus prayed that we would have eyes to see. We need direct and specific revelation of God. We need to go to His written Word—His God-breathed revelation of Himself and His plan. That is why Jesus declares several times in Revelation, “I am the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Everything we need to know about God’s loving and just nature is in His Word. Everything we need to know about salvation is in His Word. Everything we need to know about the end times is in His Word. That is why Jesus also warned in Revelation 22:18-19, “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” It’s time to go to the book and see for ourselves. This is where we’re headed in the next few blogs. Stay tuned!
