Jeffrey Horton, and his wife, Bonnie, are the founders of Chronos Ministries. Our ministry is based in the greater Sarasota-Bradenton-Lakewood Ranch area of Florida. Jeff's sister, Lori Coeman, is an integral member of the team as well. Our teaching ministry is conducted in Home Bible Study Groups and on our "Chronos Messenger" YouTube Channel. For those in our area, you may contact us if you wish to set up a "Chronos End-time Prophecy Teaching Encounter."
"In the summer of 1982 I had an encounter with the Lord in which He said, 'I want you to teach people about My return. As you teach, I want you to give them comfort, hope, and victory. This will become the emphasis of your teaching ministry. If you will take the time to study, I will teach you what you need to know.' This encounter was the defining moment of my life. It is the mission of Chronos Ministries." (Jeffrey Horton)
That call led to years of intensive Bible study and research, and many Spirit-led question and answer sessions. It was Jeff's personal Emmaus Road journey through the Scriptures with respect to the Lord's return. Jeff had read some books on the end-times and knew that there was much confusion concerning our Lord's return. He told the Lord that he would only teach what was confirmed in Scripture in at least two to three clear passages, which also had to harmonize with the whole counsel of God's Word.
Over the 40-year journey, Jeff recognized the misconceptions clouding the Church's understanding of Christ's return. He followed the Spirit-inspired phrases and analogies in the biblical text to make the vital connections. These connections enabled him to assemble the pieces of the prophetic puzzle, not based on his own views or opinions, but according to the scriptural record.
These key connections are explained in our "Solving the Puzzle of End-Time Prophecy" series. This series reveals the true sequence of end-time events and depicts the picture that the Holy Spirit intends for all of us to see at this time, especially with the Lord's return so near.
To prepare this generation for the return of Jesus Christ, with a message of comfort, hope, and victory.
